  • This support group is an inviting, safe, confidential space for folks who identify as trans femme to connect with others who share this identity and are going through similar experiences. This group will be rooted in feminist psychotherapy. Feminist theory focuses on how the environment and broader cultural and sociopolitical dynamics may impact views and experiences around gender as well as mental health and well being.

    Membership details:
Participants will self-identify on the transfemme spectrum. Transfemme is used as an umbrella term to include anyone who feels aligned with nonbinary, genderqueer, agender, binary or other femme-leaning gender identities. If you feel this identity umbrella describes you then this space is for you!

Feelings of isolation are prevalent among queer folks, particularly those who struggle with depression or anxiety. With the added stress of the ongoing COVID pandemic, those feelings of loneliness, depression, isolation and anxiety can become even more intense. This group will offer a safe space to process those emotions, and help reduce feelings of isolation.

The Queer Depression & Anxiety Support Group will allow individuals to explore their experience with depression/anxiety as well as past and current triggers. This group will include peer support, feedback, and open discussion.
