Olivia Russo, MHC-LP

Therapist

Pronouns: she/her/hers & they/them/theirs

Each person holds unique histories and identities that interact with present-day society’s plethora of contexts, systems, and expectations. All of these interactions create uniquely personal experiences that can be overwhelming and difficult to navigate. Therapy is a space to explore our connections to ourselves, others, and our environments. My commitment to you is to create a consistently nonjudgmental, supportive, and open space to allow for self-exploration and authenticity. I am honored to hold space for every part of you that shows up during our work together.

About Olivia

As a genderqueer lesbian, my identities are inextricable from my work, which is grounded in a trans-affirmative, trauma-informed, multicultural approach. Additionally, the foundation of my practice is built on anti-oppressive, neurodivergent-affirming, disability justice, intersectionality, and emergent strategy theories. Through our work together and the beauty that is community healing, we are able to center curiosity, self-compassion, and pleasure in all its forms.

Working with Olivia

Therapy is a collaborative process, which begins with building a genuine relationship grounded in authenticity. There is so much value in acknowledging each person’s individual and collective contexts, histories, and environments across multiple social and cultural levels. My therapeutic style is rooted in relational-cultural, emotion-focused, and existential therapeutic theories to explore these complexities and nuances of your life and experiences. Through this practice, we’ll work together as you navigate your processing, healing, and growth.
