We all need support at some point in our lives.
Queer, transgender, and gender-expansive individuals often find themselves unable to access the mental health care and support they deserve. In particular, access to trusted therapeutic professionals is limited due to a lack of affirming, competent providers for an accessible cost.
Therapy shouldn't be a place to field microaggressions, experience blatant oppression, or be misgendered, and no one should be forced to tolerate these experiences because they lack the resources to afford queer and trans competent mental health services.
The Gender & Sexuality Therapy Center was born out of a need for safe, non-judgemental, and empowering therapeutic spaces especially for individuals and communities who often lack access to services and are met with stigma, discrimination, and microaggressions.
