Therapist

Pronouns: he/him/his & they/them/theirs

Opening up and being vulnerable to others is challenging, but being vulnerable to yourself can be even more complicated. As a therapist, I seek to encourage openness, curiosity, and compassion so that we can empower ourselves to live the most authentic version of our lives. Therapy is our opportunity to explore who we are without judgment, shame, or stigma.

About Lee

As a white, transgender, and queer therapist, my identities guide my work. I am aware of the privileges and power I have while also having minority identities that affect me. Because of this, I see therapy as an opportunity to understand how power, privilege, and oppression can be held simultaneously while striving toward personal liberation. I believe that through this process, we can hold space for all of ourselves and begin to find the beauty within.

Working with Lee

Our work together will be built on trust and curiosity. I am mindful of the compassion it takes to get to know and love yourself, so I use multiple therapy approaches. All my work is person-centered and based on anti-oppressive and gender and sexuality affirmation; this can help us explore with an open mind and heart to begin to process, learn, and flourish. I incorporate social justice values to understand how our environment affects us alongside our experiences and to empower ourselves throughout therapy.
