About Dean
I am a queer nonbinary therapist whose goal is to provide effective therapy for any individual who is looking to improve their mental health and achieve their personal life goals. My therapeutic approach is centered around collaboration, empowerment and kindness. I take pride in granting all my clients the safe space to explore themselves at their own pace.

With over 6 years of experience in the mental health industry, working with me will be transformative while also challenging at times. I believe as your therapist it is my job to not only provide you a safe space to share your life experiences, but also to challenge you to make positive changes in your life. My laid back approach to therapy is what folks enjoy most when working with me. My therapeutic approach is rooted in healing and growing. Therefore, it is important for me to customize your care to your needs. It is my goal to use evidence based treatment and techniques to ensure you are equipped with the skills and tools needed to overcome life challenges and begin healing from past trauma.

I specialize working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, substance abuse, intimate partner violence, and relationship conflict (monogamous or open/poly). I also specialize in working with folks that are exploring their gender expression, sexual orientation and self-esteem.

BA in Psychology from Hunter College
Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University.
I have completed training in trauma informed care, mindfulness practice and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
