Carolina Batista, MSW-LP

Therapist

Pronouns: she/her/ella

Moments of connection can heal and transform us. In a world rooted in disconnection from ourselves and others through the violence of white supremacy, capitalism, and patriarchy, connection gives us room to exist outside of these oppressive systems. I see therapy as an opportunity to co-create a relationship grounded in physical and emotional safety, with someone who is committed and excited for your growth and well-being.

About Carolina

I am a white, Dominican-American, and pansexual clinical therapist with experience providing counseling in Spanish and English. My practice is grounded in curiosity and gentleness as tools for self exploration, and safety as an important part of the therapeutic process.

Working with Carolina

We will work together to build a collaborative space grounded in trust, vulnerability, and embodied safety. I use a strength based and anti-oppressive approach and incorporate different therapy styles such as psychodynamic therapy, internal family systems, and solution-focused therapy. Many of us have spiritual and cultural traditions that help us survive and care for ourselves in the face of oppressive systems. I hope to weave in those care practices that resonate with you into our space.
